Inspire and amuse your peers after the conference dinner with a science demo, story or comedy piece of eight minutes. Anything goes in Science Cabaret, which allows you to showcase innovative approaches to communication in front of a friendly audience – a poem, video, song or a new twist on a traditional presentation.
There will be an informal audience voting system ( with no defined evaluation criteria.) Both experienced science communicators and novices are encouraged to take part, and voting will be in separate categories.
Please supply a title, a description of your act, genre (demo, music, comedy, talk, video, story etc), along with a short bio and whether you wish to participate in the novice category. Submit expressions of interest by 30 November 2013 to [link to speaker registration portal: http://bit.ly/1cchEp5]. Selected participants will be notified before Christmas!
