Abstract

An effective science communicator needs to be an effective leader – persuading, engaging, communicating a vision and delivering action.

In the second part of the session, attendees will take on an active role, as a facilitated discussion translates the leadership lessons from the first section into initiatives and actions to help build a culture of science communication. With guidance from the leadership panel, attendees will discuss useful approaches to developing relationships, promoting successes, engaging others and enhancing impact.
