Biography:
Upulie Divisekera is a molecular biologist who communicates science through written articles for outlets like Crikey, social media, radio and performance. She is currently enrolled as a PhD student researching nanotechnology and is a co-founder and coordinator of Real Scientists. Dr James Smith is a former developmental biologist currently working in science communication and research coordination in Dunedin, New Zealand and is a co-founder and coordinator of Real Scientists. Dr Sarah Keenihan is a science writer and creator of the Science for Life 365 project. Sarah writes for agencies such as Cosmos Magazine and is an alumnus of communications outfit Bridge 8. Bernard Kealey is a consultant and research coordinator associated with the University of New South Wales and came up with the concept of Real Scientists. Bernard is based in Sydney.
