Biography:

Maria Barrett is Equity School Program Coordinator in the Science and Engineering Faculty, providing STEM outreach programs to primary and secondary schools under the Facult’s Widening Participation program. Maria manages the successful Extreme Science and Engineering van program which has had a state-wide reach to over 120,000 students during its 12 years of operation. Maria is also a doctoral student in the Faculty of Education, and has expertise in primary science and environmental education.
