Biography:

Carrie Bengston has 20 years’ experience in CSIRO communicating mathematical sciences research and its impact. She is Communication Manager for CSIRO Computational Informatics, CSIRO’s home of data science and digital technology research. While Carrie’s science background in originally in the life sciences, she is constantly amazed (very tiring) at how many areas of life the mathematical sciences touch on and finds the language of maths compelling and at times, even beautiful.
