Biography:

Damian currently works as a communicator for Science Group within Griffith University. His most recent achievement is the launch of Impact @ Griffith Sciences, a suite of multi-media publications to promote Griffith’s science research. Damian is also the founding Director of Scinema International Film Festival where he is focused on exploring the blurred line between science and art.  He has helped develop Scinema from a single event in Canberra fourteen years ago, to a national event screening at over 300 venues annually. He has extensive experience in the science communication profession, having worked with CSIRO, Questacon, the National Museum of Australia.
